A dad gets sent home from the hospital twice and is forced to deliver baby at home (can you say, “let’s find a new doctor”).  A really pregnant woman gets fined for not picking up her dog's poop.  She thinks ticket is a load of crap (I agree).

Had a great weekend with the family.  Steph and I took the kids on a couple of adventures. On Saturday, we rode the bus to the farmer’s market (son’s first bus ride).   On Sunday, we took the El (son’s first train ride) to Millennium Park here in Chicago  (and no, our car has not been repossessed).  In between the bus ride and the train ride my son had another first time experience.  He stood up on his own.  Don’t know what inspired this awesome feat, but it was hilarious.  Captured it on video and thought I’d share it here (this is shot on iPhone 3GS in low light, so it’s a little grainy, but iPhone has taken some awesome video in good light).
